We closely adhere to the German program (as outlined by the SV and the FCI breed standard.) as a guideline for breeding the German Shepherd. We have a single desire to improve the breed and adhere to the vision of the breed standard. We only want to produce German Shepherds (GSD) that will improve the upon the breed. We strive to fulfill the vision of the standard of the German Shepherd Dog.

We are committed to producing German Shepherds true to the standard.  They must meet every requirement of the breed standard as set by SV.  We raise all our dogs in a family environment. They are well socialized (some would say spoiled).  Every puppy is socialized to a wealth of experiences- children, large fields, crates etc. We believe that the breed standard calls for a well rounded adaptable German Shepherd. At Haus Von Spreitler we make sure every puppy is given that opportunity. 

We set high expectations for all of our dogs.  We expect them to perform in the highest manner. We are committed to furthering the breed. But not all puppies are destined for success in trials or the ring. Some puppies are just great pets. At any time if a Haus Von Spreitler German Shepherd needs to come home they are always welcome.
